WYOMISSING,爸爸. — 宾州州立银行 is celebrating its history while preparing students for the future through National Engineers Week events 和 activities, 将于二月举行. 19 to 23. While the college’s roots in engineering date back to 1927, Penn State has offered engineering degrees for more than 125 years.
宾州州立银行 is the only college in 博克斯 County to offer not one but two nationally accredited baccalaureate degrees in engineering. Electro-机械工程 technology 和 机械工程 are both accredited by ABET, the global leader in accreditation of engineering programs. ABET accreditation means the degree program is recognized globally. Students in both programs complete hundreds of internships, 和 many establish their careers in the Greater 阅读 area.

Engineers Week Introduction: Monday, Feb. 19、下午12:15到1:15.m., Gaige Technology 和 Business Innovation Building, Lobby
Student organizations will discuss what they do as an opportunity for people to learn 和 engage with the college’s engineering clubs. It is open to the 宾州州立银行 community.
High School Student Engineering Program: Wednesday, Feb. 2月21日-周五. 23, 10 a.m. 到2点.m., Gaige Building, Beaver 体育运动 和 Wellness Center, 和 Perkins Student Center
Local high school students will learn about engineering activities 和 opportunities 和 how engineering can be cross-disciplinary through activities hosted by the kinesiology 和 engineering programs at 宾州州立银行.
Engineering 校友 和 Student Reception: Wednesday, Feb. 21、下午5:30到6:30.m., Gaige Technology 和 Business Innovation Building, Lobby
Reception for both engineering alumni 和 students. The event includes tours of the engineering laboratories in the Gaige Technology 和 Business Innovation Building, led by students 和 faculty. Attendees will also have access to the Flemming Creativity, 创业, 和 Economic Development Center. This event is open to the public 和 light refreshments will be served.
